TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND USE

Terms and Conditions of Sale:

 These Terms and Conditions of Sale are up to date as of 01/01/2025, in accordance with the regulations in force in France.

Definitions:

 The company ARM VTC provides transport services using Chauffeur-Driven Vehicles (VTC), exclusively by reservation and at a pre-defined price. The headquarters of ARM VTC is located at 37 rue de Salm, 67200 Strasbourg. ARM VTC is registered in Strasbourg, SIREN 834 619 579, and is listed in the VTC register EVTC067180019.

  1 – SUBJECT

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the terms applicable to transport service contracts entered into between ARM VTC and its clients. By using the services of ARM VTC, the Client is presumed to have read and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

  2 – FORMATION OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE CONTRACT

The Client can make a service request 24/7 through the website www.armvtc.fr or by phone at +33 6 52 17 44 11. The Client provides all the necessary information regarding the service request. The Client is solely responsible for this information, of which the following are considered essential to the contract: transport service date, pickup location, drop-off location, pickup time, number of passenger(s) (adult/child), number of bag(s), and type of service (transfer, private hire). ARM VTC sets the price of the service based on the information provided by the Client.
Payment can be made either by credit card online on our website, by credit card onboard the vehicle, or in cash. By providing their banking details, the Client agrees in advance and without condition that ARM VTC will proceed with the secure online transaction and authorizes their bank to debit their account for the service amount.
After confirmation of the service request and payment by the Client, ARM VTC will send, exclusively by email, a booking confirmation summarizing the service details. The Client is responsible for verifying the information in the booking confirmation.

  3 – RATES

ARM VTC sets the price of the service based on the information provided by the Client. The chauffeur service, fuel, unlimited insurance for the transported passengers, and tolls are included in the transport. Parking fees are not included in the service.

  4 – PAYMENT

Accepted payment methods: cash, credit cards. Any transport service for transfer or private hire is payable at the time of booking or onboard the vehicle.

  5 – BOOKING AND CANCELLATION  

   5 – 1 – BOOKING:

 All bookings imply the full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Both the Client and the service provider agree to comply with all the clauses outlined in this contract. No modification may be made to the above conditions unless prior agreement is reached between the parties. This contract shall be suspended or canceled by right, without any compensation, in the event of force majeure (external events to ARM VTC), such as disruptions in road traffic, weather conditions, demonstrations, accidents, breakdowns, telecommunication network malfunctions, labor or material shortages, etc. The contract is considered concluded only once the payment for the booking has been processed. Otherwise, it is automatically void. All chauffeur-driven vehicle bookings are mandatory and must be made at least 2 hours in advance through the website or last-minute by phone, subject to availability.

  5 – 2 – STATION OR AIRPORT BOOKING:

Any booking of a chauffeur-driven vehicle departing from a station or airport requires the Client to provide their flight number in the ‘Additional Information’ field for optimal pickup by the driver. If this information is not provided, the driver will not be able to know the exact arrival terminal or platform of the Client, and the driver will not be held responsible for failing to pick up the Client. In this case, if the two parties are unable to get in touch, in any way, at the scheduled pickup time indicated in the booking, the driver will wait for the Client for 30 minutes before leaving the location, and the service will be considered lost. The Client will be charged 100% of the fare, with no possibility of rescheduling and no right to any refund.

   5 – 3 – CANCELLATION AND DELAY:

  Wait at the train station departure:

  The Client, having provided their train number in advance, will have the driver waiting at the end of the platform with a sign bearing their name. In case of train delays, the driver will adjust and make the necessary arrangements to be present to welcome the Client once they reach the platform. Once the train arrives, the driver will wait for the Client for 15 minutes. If the Client cannot be reached despite several attempts by the driver to contact them, the driver will leave the location, and the service will be considered lost. The Client will be charged 100% of the fare, with no possibility of rescheduling and no right to any refund.

   Wait at the airport or train station departure point:

 The Client, having provided their flight or train number in advance, will have the driver waiting at the designated departure area with a sign bearing their name. In case of flight or train delays, the driver will adjust and take the necessary steps to be present to welcome the Client once they arrive. Once the plane or train has arrived, the driver will wait for the Client for 30 minutes. If the Client cannot be reached despite several attempts by the driver to contact them, the driver will leave the location, and the service will be considered lost. The Client will be charged 100% of the fare, with no possibility of rescheduling and no right to any refund.

  Wait at the departure from a specific address:

 The Client, having provided their pickup address in advance, the driver will arrive at the specified date, time, and location. Once on-site, the driver will wait for 15 minutes free of charge. Any additional wait time will be charged at €0.80 per minute, not exceeding 30 minutes, unless the driver is contacted, is available to wait longer, and both parties agree. After 30 minutes of waiting, if the Client cannot be reached despite several attempts by the driver to contact them, the driver will leave the location, and the service will be considered lost. The Client will be charged 100% of the fare, with no possibility of rescheduling and no right to any refund.

  Client Cancellation:

A booking can be canceled by the client, before the scheduled pickup time indicated in the booking confirmation, via email at contact@armvtc.fr or by phone at +33 06 52 17 44 11.
The client has the option to cancel free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. After 2 hours, the service will be charged at 100%.

  6 – SERVICE QUALITY:

 The transport of passengers for a fee is a regulated activity. Only authorized vehicles are allowed to provide this service and must:

  • Be equipped with a professional card number issued by the prefecture,
  • Be registered with a certificate issued by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Energy, Bureau of Road Transport Organization for Passengers / VTC division,
  • Display a registration sticker affixed to the vehicle’s windshield.

ARM VTC commits to providing or ensuring the provision of transport services in accordance with the booking confirmation and in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws. In the case of subcontracting, ARM VTC ensures that the individuals and companies it engages meet the same conditions.

  7 – RESPONSIBILITIES:

ARM VTC is insured by a financially sound insurance company that covers the risks associated with its activity in accordance with current regulations. In the event of a dispute, ARM VTC’s liability can only be held if the Client provides evidence of wrongful behavior on the part of ARM VTC and a causal link to the claimed damage. ARM VTC’s unlimited multi-risk insurance covers the company’s liabilities. The Client is legally and criminally responsible for their actions.

  7 – 1 – CLIENT AND PASSENGERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 The Client agrees, both for themselves and for the passengers they have contracted with ARM VTC, to behave responsibly from the time of pickup, particularly by respecting the driver and the transport equipment, as well as the following provisions:

  • Compliance with traffic laws (seat belt use, child seats, booster seats, etc.),
  • Prohibition of smoking, eating, and transporting hazardous materials. If necessary, your driver will stop during the journey,
  • Prohibition of consuming alcohol onboard the vehicle,
  • Luggage is accepted and remains the responsibility of the Client. ARM VTC cannot be held liable for damage and/or loss of luggage or electronic devices (phone, tablet, etc.),
  • Any damage to the vehicle caused by the Client will be fully charged to them,
  • For any other damages causing vehicle immobilization: Actual cost invoicing + Immobilization fees + Loss of earnings based on the average of the last 3 months. In case of damage resulting in the cancellation of the following service, a fixed fee of €150 will be charged in addition, payable immediately by credit card,
  • Cleaning for vomiting will be charged €150 including tax in addition to the service, payable immediately by credit card,
  • Small domestic animals are accepted, provided they are in a transport cage. Large assistance dogs are allowed.

 Failure to comply with these provisions will result in the exclusive responsibility of the Client and the passengers, both toward ARM VTC and third parties. ARM VTC assumes no responsibility for the actions of its Client before and after transport. ARM VTC reserves the right to refuse service or disembark any passenger who does not adhere to these obligations, as well as any intoxicated passenger.

  8 – HOURLY SERVICE / TRANSFER:

  8 – 1 – TRANSFER: The transfer service starts at the location of ARM VTC’s headquarters and ends upon the client’s arrival at the designated address.

  8 – 2 – HOURLY SERVICE:

 The transport is limited by mileage for hourly service:

  • 50 kilometers for 1 hour of service,
  • 170 kilometers for 4 hours of service,
  • 340 kilometers for 8 hours of service.

 Any hour started is fully charged.

  9 – CLAIMS:

 Any complaint will only be accepted within 5 days of the completion of the concerned transport service.
